Traffic & Pedestrian Safety Committee

The Traffic and Pedestrian Safety group needs help planning what we can do to improve public safety on and near our streets. Interested? Please contact WHCC.

Pedestrian Crossing Flags

If you know of a crosswalk in Whittier Heights’ boundaries (NW 65th to 85th St. and 8th to 15th Ave. NW) that could use crossing flags for safer pedestrian crossings, please email WHCC. Tell us the location and a brief description of your concern.

Crosswalk and Intersection Mural Painting

We’re working on the City grant and already have interested volunteers, including artists who can design the mural. Please email WHCC with your suggestions for where to paint a crosswalk and intersection mural to improve pedestrian and traffic safety.
